“Summer weekends bring together all of my favorite things: friends, family, flowers from the garden and eating outside. After a morning of playing tennis or swimming, we’ll gather for a big group lunch that will stretch into early afternoon, knowing us. Almost everything — from the fresh flowers I pick in the morning and arrange in blue Imari vases or our spongeware pitchers to the vegetables we grill — comes from our garden. I love putting together beautiful tables for my friends. I’ll mix vintage linens, bamboo settings and hurricanes I have found on my travels with pieces from our home collection — our Spring Meadow glasses, spongeware plates and Jardin cocktail napkins.
