At our Embrace Ambition Summit last week, tennis icon Billie Jean King joined Tory on stage to discuss women’s empowerment and announce their new partnership: Tory Burch is now the official outfitter of the Billie Jean King Cup by BNP Paribas, known as “the women’s World Cup of Tennis” and the largest annual international team event in women’s sports. Tory will design a winner’s jacket for the Cup’s world champions and their teams. “I think about those green jackets they give men at the Masters, and I want to make something as iconic for world champion women athletes.” Tory tells us. “I’m thrilled for our partnership. What Billie means to young women is hard to describe.”

The Tory Burch Foundation will also become the non-profit partner of the Billie Jean King Cup by BNP Paribas. In collaboration with King and the International Tennis Federation (ITF), the Foundation will lead a program that advances women in sports and gender equality, launching in 2023.
