We can’t compete with nature’s peaceful sounds, but our Great Outdoors playlist sets out to be the next best thing. The Talking Heads’ Take Me to the River, Prince’s Purple Rain and Marvin Gaye’s Ain’t No Mountain High Enough are obvious highlights while songs like Lijadu Sister’s Sunshine and T’Pau’s Heart and Soul help to carry it home. Not to mention, the playlist has just the right number of songs for an hour-long hike.
